Tray Set #2Tray set #1 was starting to feel like they had done all they were gonna do, not loose but no real pressure on my teeth. So I kinda get the idea the first few days of each tray set will be the “tightest” then as the teeth move, they gradually get to the same point by the end of the two week period where they are more just holding your teeth in place as opposed to moving them, kinda like a retainer. I put a new set of trays in this morning. (Tray set#2) My teeth do hurt a little bit but not as bad as I thought. The good news is, so far anyways, I haven’t had to use any dental wax on this set of trays……that can continue through the rest of the trays as far as I’m concerned! The bad news for me was last Friday morning, when I woke up I had some swelling and soreness around the extraction site of my pulled tooth. I was worried that I might be developing an infection. I called and Stonecreek got me right in to check me out right after the Friday morning drive and I indeed was working on getting an infection. Dr. Biehle thought I may have jammed some food in there. With that, I was prescribed some antibiotics and was sent on my way! By Saturday afternoon I was pretty much getting back to normal on the swelling and pain and by this morning it is all better……yes, I will finish taking ALL of my pills Dr. Biehle. |
