I just wish I could remember……..

Okay….., I have pretty much settled into a routine as far as cleaning and taking care of my teeth and trays each day. But here is the deal, it never fails, every time I stop to go to a restaurant to eat, I plan to take my trays out in the car and I forget, I then walk in with my trays in my mouth and leave my tray container in the car.

When you first get your trays, Invisalign gives you a tray container and your dentist warns you… several times….DO NOT go into a restaurant and take out your trays and put them into a napkin…..you WILL forget and throw them away!

Now, I have not done that yet because every time I get into the restaurant, sit down, order my meal and take the first sip of my drink, I immediately then realize my trays are still in and my container is in the car.

My chin then drops to my chest, I shake my head at myself for again forgetting and then make the walk of shame back out to the car to get the container. The good thing is I usually just pop my choppers out and just leave them in the car. By the way……another thought, I guess that tells you after a few weeks of wearing the trays you become so accustom to them that you don’t even really remember that you have them in!
