Do these Invisaligns make my teeth look fat?

So Dr Biehle made the comment that on my next visit I was gonna need some "slenderizing".

I was surprised, I didn’t realize they had a gym at Stonecreek….. They don’t, turns out that she was talking about my teeth.

So far for the most part, my visits have been come in, look things over get more trays and get out. About 15 to 20 minutes at most.

This visit was a little different. I needed to have just a very little bit shaved out between a couple of my front bottom teeth. Not much, like about the width of a piece of paper. This is to help make room for my teeth to move into their final position.

The process was really pretty much a non-event. They put a little gel on my gums to numb them for the procedure. Within a couple of minutes Dr. Biehle came in, explained what she was going to do, which was to basically take a dremel with a very thin sanding disk on it and cut out a thin slot between my teeth. She checked the measurement of the “slenderizing” with what was basically a thin piece of metal. For the folks that work on their own cars, it was a fancy spark plug feeler gauge . The whole process took about 10 extra minutes. So my “normal” 15 to 20 minute appointment took about a half hour. As usual, I got my new trays and was on my way.

After I got home I checked out my new spaces between my teeth, it will be interesting watching my teeth move into their new positions and watching those gaps fill in!
